Brief . . . And a Greeblepix Entry!

Guemes Island Pretty, June 2008

The wonderful Aimee of the fabulous blog Greeblemonkey is hosting another photography contest - you must go check out the other entries and consider throwing your own photo into the mix for an awesome prize . . . or just to say you did (which is totally why I am participating, I know up against photographers like Moosh in Indy, I don't stand a chance).

-------------------------------------------------------------------

My poor husband continues to recover from a serious illness, although things are starting to look better!

I think it was all that love and napping that he received over the weekend, but I could be wrong. Our dear and wonderful friend Linda took all of our kids for 24 hours and I cannot thank her enough, I am sure it was just the salve we both needed and we are so incredibly grateful to have friends like Linda and her husband.

We are also incredibly blessed to have the support of our family as well, and my mom and dad were right there by our sides, ready to step in and take over when we needed to go to the hospital. I honestly don't know what I'd do without them.

Life is looking good again.

Very scary. It's hard when what you usually only see on the news actually happens to you.

Remember when B. stepped in & saved your Dad? We would do ANYTHING, and that is not the only reason why. He's ours, too,
