I'm Done!

I don't think there is any mystery as to what I am being called to do when my daughter, lovely as she is, says this:

"Mom, I'm DONE!"

And if I don't bound into one of the bathrooms she's occupying with the speediness of Wonder Woman on uppers, she'll repeat herself.

Over and over and over and over again.

I'm seriously considering drinking RockStar every afternoon just to give me the energy to deal with these, a'hem, potty requests.

Ah, the motherhood.

Oh, I get it, this must be one of those "rewarding" things that people talk about when they really have no idea of what to say when you tell them that you're a full-time mom.

Oh yes, that must be it.

Wiping is definitely not one of the rewarding moments.

If you want to know about rewarding moments, just take a look into that beautiful face and remember that you get to watch her grow up. That's the only thing that makes the wiping bearable....that and the thought that soon enough she can do it herself!

i love the idea of drinking something called "Rock Star" so that you have the energy to wipe poopy bottoms. ;)

I never got the "rock star" drink memo. :)

She is a doll. Does she carry her itty bitty baby to the potty like my daughter does?

She is so freakin' cute. Sorry, I know you have to clean up after her but she is adorable

Have you forgotten about the mirror?? I bet the boys were younger then her. Practice makes perfect.
She is cute, but nothing is cute about poopy butts

I had to do the wiping thing for my daughter at a friend's party. All I could think was that in past years, had I been kneeling in front of a toilet during a party, it would have been because I was puking up good ole Jim Beam.

The joys of motherhood, right? And for the clueless ones, please note that potty requests are not limited to SAHMs -- they're pretty much universal for moms.

I always wonder why they never, ever call for DAD!!

I am STILL wiping BubTar. He's going to be 6 soon! Sigh.

The best part is, when we have company, he automatically thinks it is some sort of privelege that must be extended to the guests. Like, "Hey! Uncle Z! Come wipe my buuuuuutt!" Double sigh.

You know, YOU used to do this to your Nanny. Drove me nuts. I knew for a fact that by the time you were four, at home, you were on your own. Hmmmm.

xxxooomom
