Climbing Mt. Everest

I wish that I could say that this post was written about a fascinating trip to the Himalayas, spiritual enlightenment among the apt Sherpas who showed us the way and the humbling vision of being on top of the world.

I only wish.

I don't know about you, but the last time I had a real, honest-to-goodness pimple on my chinny chin chin, I was in the 8th grade.

That is, until now.

For days, I'd felt it coming right there smack in the middle of my chin.

I exfoliated.

I scrubbed.

I squeezed with wild abandon.

I used the mud mask.

I toned.

I steamed.

I squeezed some more.

I applied alcohol.

I slept with toothpaste on it.

I tried everything, and still it lingers. Taunting me. Damn pimple.

What am I, 13 again?

It's the holiday stress right?

Certainly not my hormones.

I've been breaking out like mad. I think it's all the Crisco I used in my holiday cookies. Gah.

Phhhbbbttt. If the last time you had a real, honest-to-goodness pimple was 8th grade then I am NOT talking to you anymore!

I was recently at a fancy schmancy party. I had a humongo pimple right under my nose. I looked stunning, trust me...

I hate that I'm the age that I can get pimples and wrinkles at the same time! Ugh.

I still get zits regularly and I'm 30. Life has not been fair to me in this area!

LOL! I thought it was something totally different...argh!

Definitely the stress. I'm sure, as I am writing this, it has already disappeared! If not, then in there!

Happy New Year!

I agree. It is evil for a pimple to appear after 30. I'm 39 and pissed because I'm going through my 2nd puberty. Hello? No warning this time!!! Sorry you share my pain. I agree it is stress, but why must the pimples by on my face vs. my a$$????

8th grade?! I have one or two fairly often...but then, I'm the resident infant in this corner of the blogosphere. But NOT an 8th grader. LOL.

I have a nurse friend who delights in saying to her post-menopausal friends "At least I am still YOUNG enough to have spots...". It is medical humour, I'm afraid.
