Santa Baby

The eve of Thanksgiving is upon me and what have I done?

Three pumpkin pies, one apple pie and one pumpkin cake? Check.

Two gigantic tubs of Cool Whip? Check.

Snazzy new haircut? Check.

Several bottles of wine for after the celebration with 100 Italians? Check.

Expandable waistband on everybody's pants for ensuing food overdose? Check.

Caffeine to wake us up after the temporary turkey-induced coma we are bound to experience? Check.

Blessings counted? Check.

Children happily tucked in their beds (their own beds, in their own rooms - a'hem!)? Check.

Drumroll please . . .

Perfect Santa picture for the Christmas card? Check.

And check this one out:

Apparently, the gods in charge of children looking into camera lenses at the same time and not crossing their eyes, picking their noses or sticking out their tongues were smiling upon us tonight. Katie was so taken with the grand 'ol Mr. Claus that I thought she may jump on the back of his stuffed reindeer and take flight, never to be seen again in the lower 48!

Happy Thanksgiving!

That is so cool! You got all the kids to look half reasonable at the camera, and you got one rockin' old school Santa. Jackpot Baby!!!

Wow, holiday season togetherness off to an impressive start. I feel really proud of myself right now that I have cranberry sauce made, stuffing made, and turkey ingredients chopped. Woo hoo!

I hope you have a great T'givin today!

Finally, picture success! Your kids look ready for the holiday season.

So, you bake pies. Pies, mmmmmmmmm (perhaps a little too much like Homer Simpson).

Do we get to see the new do?
