Flip That Dog!

I would normally NEVER boast about anything remotely physical, but I feel I must share. I've been a yoga student for oh, five or six years (taking lots of time away for pregnancy and injury). I am NOT a gorgeous, coordinated, perfectly poised and manicured yogi, rather, I am just a mommy trying to fit in a little inner peace and exercise whenever the planets align. This usually takes place once a week, Monday night.

I am not sure if it was all that broccoli that I ate today, or an email from a friend which told me to "have a bendy time at yoga", but I kicked some yoga butt tonight!

I know, I know, yoga is not about "kicking butt" or anything remotely close to that (although in some poses, you can actually kick your own butt); however, if there were such a state of yoga-butt-kicking, I was in it. Tonight folks, I not only FLIPPED MY DOG, but I half mooned like there was no tomorrow! And no, that does not involve pulling your pants down in any way, shape or form.

This is important to me because a.) I haven't been able to half-moon properly since my last pregnancy and b.) I have never been able to FLIP MY DOG! If you haven't flipped your dog, I highly recommend it. Now, excuse me, Vince Vaughn is on Leno - Goodnight, sweet dreams and NAMASTAY!!!

In typical manly fashion, I have no idea what Flippin' the Dawg is all about, and I doubt its got anything to do with a one fingered salute to a cute puppy!
But if you're bendin' your way through all those moves, all the best to you!!!
Cheers, Whiz.

You go!

I did yoga for around a year, and really loved it until the yoga studio I was going to got waaaay too cosmic for me and I noticed that everyone in there was starting to look like an emaciated wanderer from a Grateful Dead concert.

Never heard of a Flip The dog or a Half Moon but I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to do either of those.
