I finally accepted...I hate all growing out of hair. I finally accepted that I'm just meant to have short hair (like pixie short). My 19-month-old daughter has fairly curly hair that reaches, depending on where you check, to the top of her neck, her shoulder blades, just below her ears, or her eyebrows. Other than once taking care of the baby mullet she was developing, I've only ever cut her bangs. I'm sure someday I'm going to have to give her hair an actual direction, but for now she's young enough that it's just sort of the "still a baby but has long enough hair that you can mostly tell she's a girl" style.
