One of Those Days

There are those days when it is simply easier to go to the store and buy new socks rather than wash all the ones in the hamper.

Today is one of those days.

From someone currently washing a bunch of mulch covered socks - why didn't I think of that!

Been there. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

That has been my day for the last nearly 4 months. If I wasn't pregnant again I'd have a drink in my hand or at least next to me w/a really long straw so I could drink and type and tell myself that just b/c my hubby is asleep and my bro-in-law is on his computer that technically I'm not drinking alone and therefore not an alcoholic:) Sorry for the long sentence. Hope things get better for you.

You have it so right! Socks have sucked the soul out of my life! Everything is about socks around my home....I spy one but not the other...I wash 14 socks but only one pair match. I have given up and try not to care anymore....lol

Ha! Sounds like something I would do!

I also will go into a store and buy a new shirt if I was eating somewhere and spilled something on me rather than walk around with a stain. Or new shoes if the ones I'm wearing are too uncomfortable.

I've been there and done that more times than I can possibly admit. You are my hero... thank you for taking the shame out of sock propagation!

I read this in my reader Thursday and I too was having one of those days. Seriously.

Oh. By the way. I am done with your books. Can you email me your address so I can get them back to you. I promise I will include some new pairs of socks. ;) Teehee...

Hell yes! I am totally that mommy ;) As a matter of fact, I just did that the other day! My problem is that most of the socks are still packed away with the winter clothes, which are a complete unorganized mess after two big moves since last winter!
