For those of you who know me in real life, I am sure you will be so incredibly surprised to find out this:
Just getting geared up for the big movie!
Oh, and one more thing; somehow, I was able to convince my husband to watch The Jane Austen Book Club with me (I know, my powers of persuasion are to be envied), and he began asking me all sorts of questions about Jane Austen.
I guess he thinks since I took a Jane Austen course a thousand years ago, I am the resident expert.
Well, maybe I am, considering most of the readers in my family tend to lean more towards Captain Underpants and Angelina Ballerina books than the classics.
Because I did not want to disappoint him with my fleeting knowledge of my once-favored author, I did a little "research." Upon my quest for more knowledge, I thought it would be appropriate to watch yet another movie, Becoming Jane. Unfortunately, I did not make it more than 40 minutes into the film before I had to turn it off and head to bed.
Let me just put it this way, Anne Hathaway will forever be, in my mind, a Disney heroine. Not, even if I try to stretch my imagination to it's fullest capacity, Jane Austen.
Which brings me to my next course of "research," this time, I think I got it right!
No surprise there either.
Who are you?
