You Know You Have a Happy Home If:

You end each sentence to your kids with, "without fighting."

For example,

"Go brush your teeth, without fighting."

"Please pick up your dirty clothes, without fighting."

"Make your beds, without fighting."

"Eat your pancakes and take your vitamins, without fighting."

"Take the dog for a walk, without fighting."

"Do your homework, without fighting."

And my favorite,

"Quit fighting, without fighting."

*sigh* It's been one of those days, and it's only 10:10 am.

Ooooh..I had one of those days yesterday. Although that may have had something to do with the fact that I was in "another person's body".

I hope the day gets better for ya!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Ask those darling children to get dressed and GO OUTSIDE. It's up to you whether you lock the door or not.

Have you been hanging out in my house?

Acutally in my house it's..."Go brush your teeth, without whining" or "Pick up your toys, without whining"...

:)

BubTar's been in a bit of a mood today, using his not-so-nice voice a smidgen more than we'd like. Josh took him out to see a movie as a treat for his straight A report card and also as a little mood enhancer. LOL. I hope it works.

This is the sort of day that makes you long for a cocktail...early in the morning! :)

Hope tomorrow is better!

LOL! I say "stop fighting" or "what are you fighting about" at least three times a day! Sometimes it just helps to know it's universal!

Yes - we sure have a lot of fighting that goes on in our house. It is a good day when there is very little fighting! Take care. Kellan

Quit fighting, without fighting... I could have used that one today!

Does it sound weird that I'm looking forward to saying that someday soon?

I am intimately acquainted with that tack-on.

he. I love your mom's comment. She's wise. So is the queen when she suggests a cocktail. ;) Hang in there, sugar!

One of those plug-in-your-ipod-and-see-who's-still-surviving-in-2-hours kinds of mornings. Try it, it's lovely. (and a drink in hand whilst ipod-ing would only enhance it!)
Actually my DH's cousin really does let her kids duke it out, and somehow it works. Although I think there is no level of noise that could bother her.

I say that and I only have one kid.

Go figure.

Carrie, I am right there with you. Had one of those days yesterday too! We should have traded kids - they are always good for someone else ......RIGHT?

It is Monday now...I hope that you survived! I used the 'Divide and Rule' concept - they can only fight if they are in the same place.
