Brrrrrr...

We went in search of snow on New Year's Day...

We drove higher and higher until we finally found some, and it was wet!!

But, it was snow, and we were happy! We put on our snowshoes, hats, mittens and gloves and played for as long as our bodies could handle it - even though technically, it was raining.

Maybe we should've been more patient...

Because look what happened, in our own backyard.

There is no sign of it going away anytime soon, so we'll enjoy it as much as we can!

We got snow here too.

Great pictures! I love it when the snow just hangs on the trees like that.

My kids have been begging us to take them to the snow, which for us is a two hour drive.

They'd kill to be in your backyard.
