Actually, Dick's was the "Myspace" of the 50's & 60's... innocent fun in those days to flirt with the boys & for the boys to compare their cars....... The one on 45th ws the best. Capitol Hill... crazy people there! And then there was Holman Rd.
Great pics. The last few times we've been to the zoo, the tigers have never moved. I'll have to show this to my kids to show them what one looks like awake.
As for the restaurant sign, I guess all that's missing is the Hooters next door.

Great photos! I love the one with your son and his reflection showing in the tank.
Dicks? Really? Did/do your kids snicker as you drove/drive past?
I'll try to refrain from adding another small Dick joke.
Ooops. Sorry.

So. Times change., Dicks is now a not-so-nice word? Hey. It is just a name. Richard. Dick. Rick.
Great close up of the tiger! When we go - they are usually all hiding or asleep!
Nice pics....
Okay people, get your minds outta that gutter!!!
Don't you know that "Dicks is the place that the cool hang out"?
It is a tradition to go there with each zoo visit with my Hubby. We never go without him. Thanks for making me laugh though!!
