Uncle Jack says that there is a rule about books: If you haven't "gotten into" the book and aren't enjoying it by page 50, STOP READING! Life is too short to read bad books. Added bonus for those over age fifty: you get to subtract a page for each year over fifty you are (i.e. you are fifty-nine, you only have to read to page forty-one).
Now that I have this useful information, I am sure my future reading frustrations will be no big deal.
By the way, if you haven't checked out the new James Bond, do so, NOW! Daniel Craig is the new hottie!
